CHURCH LANE  GALLERY
Asha Pearse, Artist
Asha.jpeg

Asha is an abstract mixed media artist inspired by meditation, mindful living and spirituality. Often focusing on the concept of universal connection within humanity, and the belief that we are all connected by love

Love is the frequency and language of the universe.

Asha frequently works with the number 108 as a spiritual number which appears in her work in different forms from a repetitive symbol, icon, or notch. Within each of these repeated elements is a whisper of a thought, energy or wish, like a little magical spell.

Asha works in mixed media, using a combination of acrylics, ink, spray paint, collage, stitch, encaustic wax, metal, oil paints and fire.

Asha lives in rural Oxfordshire with her husband, two children, five cats and one dog! (Yes, she is a crazy cat lady!). She has a background in textiles and worked as a graphic designer in publishing for many years.

More of Asha’s work can be seen on her website www.ashapearseart.com or on Instagram @mala_of_hearts and Facebook  @AshaPearseArtist
